Watering Seeds In Starter Pots
by John Yazo
After your seeds have been planted you will need to water them. This will help to settle the soil mix.
When watering seeds in containers apply water slowly letting the water soak into the soil mix slowly. If you pour the water to fast into the containers you risk washing out the small seeds and the larger seeds could get washed to one side of the container.
There is no need to apply any type of fertilizer to the soil or water. Seeds don't need fertilizer to germinate. Only after the seeds have germinated and the seedlings produce there first true leaves will you need to start adding nutrients to help develop a strong healthy plant.
Check the containers daily and water as needed. The containers should be keep moist at all times. You don't want to let them dry out.
