Don't Panic Over Pests

Organic gardeners don't panic over the pests in there gardens. Biodiversity is a very important part of this method of gardening. There are many beneficial organisms that are living in the garden and it's soil, they are needed there. The use of chemical pesticides are not the way to go.

The use of organic methods of pest control are just as effective as chemicals and they are healthier for both you and the environment. The organisms, microorganisms and macroorganisms are all a very important part of the organic garden and aid in the control of pests. Nature has it's own methods to balance these form of live naturally, you can too. There are more insects in your garden that will benefit the growth of your crops than harm them.

There are many ways to keep the pest problems in your garden to a minimum. Keeping it clean of any debris that are laying around like spent plants, logs, empty containers and even rock will eliminate the places that pest like to call there home. Keeping a good air flow around your crops will do away with the damp dark areas that they like to hide and other methods like companion planting is a great way to benefit your crops while controlling the pests in your garden.

Watch and learn the life style of the pest in your garden at all stages of there life and you will learn what they like and dislike. Controlling the pest before they get out of control is the best way to keep everything in balance in your organic garden.
