Harvesting Your Vegetables

Everyone plants there own garden for mainly the same reason.There is no better feeling than to go out in your garden to pick fresh ripe vegetables and there is no better taste than freshly picked vegetables from your own garden.
Knowing when to harvest your crop varies for a couple reasons. The first is everyone doesn't have the same taste and another reason is the growing conditions everywhere aren't the same. Soil conditions, sun and watering all are a big factor in the taste of vegetables. Looking at a vegetable to judge if it is the perfect time to harvest doesn't always mean the taste is going to be what you are looking for. There is some personal preference that needs to be taken into consideration.
There are a few things to keep in mind for a basic rule of thumb to guide you on harvesting your crop.
