Garden Tools - Don't Have To Be Costly

Garden tools for organic gardening can be basic in nature. You don't need to buy expensive elaborate tools to garden. Planning layout and building a good soil structure with good tilth will eliminate a lot of the work in maintaining a garden.
A few basic tools like a spade, hoe, rake and shovel can do just about anything that is needed to be done in an organic garden.
Layout of a garden is very important. Leave paths natural and mulching of the plants leaves only having to maintain the area where the actual plants are planted. This will eliminate the need for expensive tools and equipment.
Once you are finished using tools in the garden the tools should be cleaned and stored out of the elements of the weather. When the gardening season is finished it is time to thoroughly clean and sharpen your tools before storing them away for the next gardening season.
Take care of your tools and they will take care of you for many years to come.
